My lawyering animates situations. The word "health" describes personal and community well-being. The word "art" identifies creative work that displays beauty and unusual perception. Yet the practice of law has no native concepts of health or art. My practice imagines those concepts into existence.

Movement lawyers are mostly crisis lawyers. I don't want to be a crisis lawyer forever. Health is resilient against crisis. Art interrupts crisis.

Therefore my practice bends towards the abolition of lawyering. To abolish lawyering is to erase institutional borders. Society's institutions—its courts, schools, prisons, and governments—erode into natural community.
